Overview

Research project, financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (National Program for the Development of Humanities, Universalia 2.1), realized by scholars from the University of Lodz (Faculty of Philology: Zofia A. Brzozowska, Jan Morawicki). The aim of the project is to prepare a comprehensive Russian translation of the scientific monograph, authored by Zofia A. Brzozowska, Sofia – upersonifikowana Mądrość Boża. Dzieje wyobrażeń w kręgu kultury bizantyńsko-słowiańskiej [Sophia – Wisdom of God personified. History of Perceptions in the Byzantine-Slavic culture], originally published in Polish by the University of Lodz Press. Russian version of the monograph will be published by the “Aletheia” Scientific Publishing House, located in St. Petersburg, Russia.
